Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Top 1% Secret (“we”, “us”) is a personal-development app that guides you through a 66-day life-reset program. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — your phone number and/or email address, display name, and authentication details. If you sign in with a third-party provider, we receive a provider account identifier.
- Program & profile data — your onboarding answers, habits, daily tasks, streaks, journal entries, moods, reflections, photos you choose to add, attributes/XP, achievements, and your activity in seasons, leaderboards and social feeds.
- Subscription & payment data — your plan, subscription status and invoice history. Card payments are handled by third-party payment providers (for example Atmos, Payme, Click, or the app store you purchased through). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Device & usage data — app version, device type, language, time zone, and diagnostic/log data used to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information
- To create your account and deliver and personalize the 66-day program.
- To process subscriptions and payments and provide customer support.
- To operate social features you choose to use (friends, feeds, leaderboards).
- To review posts submitted to the community feed against our Community Guidelines, including automatically with Top 1% AI.
- To run the Top 1% AI coach chat if you use it (see “Top 1% AI coach” below).
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers that host and run the app on our behalf — including cloud hosting and database providers (Railway, Supabase), SMS, push-notification and video-streaming providers, AI providers (for example OpenAI and Google) that automatically review community posts and power AI features such as food-photo recognition and the Top 1% AI coach, and the payment providers listed above — under agreements that limit their use of the data to providing those services.
- Other users, only for the social content you choose to share (e.g. a public profile, feed post, or leaderboard ranking).
- Legal & safety — when required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers — if the service is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Top 1% AI coach
If you use the Top 1% AI coach chat, we store the conversation (your messages and the coach’s replies) in our database so that you can see your history.
- What the coach sees — to answer you, the coach receives your message, the recent messages of the conversation, what it remembers about you (see below) and a short summary of your program from the app: the program day and mode, today’s tasks and whether they are done, streaks, XP, mood check-ins, your last 7 days and your onboarding goals. To answer questions about your history, it can also look up your own activity in the app: workouts (exercises, sets, weights, records), meditation, breathing and focus sessions, meals, calories and water, body weight and the goals of your fitness profile, habits and streaks, lessons and books, wake-ups, XP, season, league and achievements, your activity log and your earlier messages to the coach. It does not receive your name, phone number, letters to yourself or the sex and age of your fitness profile, and it never sees the text of your journal reflections (only that you wrote one and the day’s summary). If you choose in the coach settings how it should address you in Russian (masculine or feminine forms), it receives that choice too.
- Memory and day summaries — to keep the conversation personal, the coach keeps a short summary of your chat and a list of up to 40 facts you told it (for example your goals, obstacles or schedule); they are written by OpenAI from your messages and are never meant to hold passwords, codes, card numbers, contact details or sensitive information about other people. At the end of each day the app also keeps a diary entry of that day (tasks, activity, mood) and, if you chatted with the coach or wrote a reflection that day, a short AI summary written from your messages and an excerpt of up to 300 characters of that reflection. You can see the facts the coach remembers and delete any of them in the app.
- Processing by OpenAI — this information is sent to OpenAI to generate the reply. We ask OpenAI not to store the conversation (the API’s store: false setting) and send an anonymous identifier instead of your account ID. Under OpenAI’s API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train its models by default and may be kept by OpenAI for a limited time (up to 30 days) to detect abuse. Your message is also checked by OpenAI’s moderation model to recognize unsafe content or signs that you may be at risk.
- Files you attach — you can attach photos, PDF documents and text files to a message (up to 10 a day). To answer, the coach sends them to OpenAI for analysis under the same terms (store: false; photos and text files are also checked by OpenAI’s moderation model). We keep the files in our private storage, visible only to you, until you clear the chat history or delete your account; a file you upload but never send is deleted after about a day.
- Safety — the coach is an AI, not a doctor or a therapist, and it can make mistakes. If a message suggests you may be in danger, the coach answers with a safety message and encourages you to contact emergency services or someone you trust.
- Your choices — you can clear the chat history at any time in the app (this deletes your messages and the files you attached, the coach’s replies, its memory of you and the day summaries), and deleting your account removes all of your coach data.
We keep usage counts (number of messages and files, tokens used and their cost) to apply the daily limits and to manage costs; they are deleted with your account.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your personal data from our active systems (see Delete account), except where we must retain certain records — such as transaction and tax records — to comply with the law.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can:
- Edit most profile and program data directly in the app.
- Delete your account and associated data from Settings → Delete Account, or via our account deletion page.
- Contact us at tillo3305@gmail.com to exercise any of these rights.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International data transfers
Our main database and file storage are hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Some of the service providers listed above may process data in other countries, including the United States. If you use the app from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in these locations.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
